Throughout the course of today, I was able to experience a wide range of positive emotions. The fact that my granddaughter, who is presently attending college, wanted to get in touch with me brought me great joy. Hearing her passion as she recounted her experiences as a debater in class today with her mother and me brought a smile to my face. I was really overjoyed to hear her relate her experiences.
She went on to expound on the importance of arranging her thoughts in that moment, and we listened carefully while she explained. Her subsequent presentation of her argument was delivered with confidence, and ultimately led to a “W” or Win” for her team, since this is a shorter version of what the younger generation will say today. As expected, she brightens any conversation and brings so much humor and laughter to her storytelling. The longer we talked on the phone, the more I realized how much fun she is and how much joy she brings to our family. It makes my heart overflow with gratitude and today was a special day filled with an extra dose of sunshine.
